Nice Panties

I am always trying new things and trying to improve, this is an example of that. One of the things I really want to improve on in speed! That’s why with this image I disregarded fixing all the lines, except for those on their faces and the ones that were too blotchy. Mainly the eyes needed fixing. Other than that, basically what you see here is straight on scanned pencil with hardly any retracing or correcting. I used Illustrator instead of inking. By doing this I literally saved an incredible amount of time. Retracing lines is tedious and drawing right on the PC is not as fast for me as it is with pencil on paper. I also didn’t try to be all fancy with the hair. I think you can notice how the pencil lines are most obvious on their hair.

I’m not sure why but coloring felt much faster.
Of course I am speaking of the main figures. The ring is made of simple shapes made in Photoshop. The audience are made of a bunch of free stock people (made by yours truly) put together in Photoshop with a simple box shape around them [link] The roof is a royalty free photograph of an indoor stadium.
So what do you think? Is it worth meticulously going over every line for that pro illustration look or does this look just as good? I would love some feedback about the look.
